Coffee With D Review: Our story follows a famous, popular, yet controversial journalist who gets the job of a lifetime. He has the opportunity to interview “D” one of the world’s most feared criminals.

Our Cast includes… Sunil Grover played our brave reporter “Arnab” and journalist who nabs this once in a lifetime opportunity. Zakir Hussain plays the infamous criminal and terrortist “D.” Dipannita Sharma plays Neha. Rajesh Sharma plays the televions channel owner. AnjanaSukhani plays Parul.

Arnab, has a weekly, nightly television show in which he hosts. The show is called “Frankly Speaking.” Which, he discuss topics in society today and gives his unbiased opinion. However, we know that when D comes into play he really will not be able to speak frankly. His life is even in danger taking this interview. But, he continues on with it anyway. Arnab’s character is loosely based on a very controversial journalist named, Arnab Goswani.

Even though, the topic is serious our lead character Arnab is played by Sunil Grover. He is a comedic actor which will brings in lots of laughs based on a real person and on a very difficult persona D.

The real “D” is known as Dawaood Ibrahim. A convicted criminal and extremist. The law has been over him since 1993. He was the lead of the Indian criminality organization “the D-Company” which was founded and located in Mumbai. He is also part of and on the “world’s ten most wanted” crime list. He has possibly even had ties to Osama Bin Laden.

This film hasn’t been without it’s own controversy. The makers of “Coffee with D” received a threat call from the real Dawaood Ibrahim’ assistant.However, some have deemed the call as a prank or for promotional purposes. Though, it is reported that the film makers did file an actual complaint with the police. Due to the threatening nature of calls and other correspondence related to the film. Which, these various threats are believed to be ordered by the real D’s camp. As well as other stars coming out against the film as well.
