Firoz Nadiadwala, the renowned producer behind classics like Hera Pheri, Awara Paagal Deewana, Phir Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Aan, has recently made a substantial industry move. Reports indicate that Firoz Nadiadwala has resolved his financial obligations with Eros, successfully reclaiming the rights to his impressive portfolio of films, notably the highly anticipated Hera Pheri.
Many of Firoz Nadiadwala’s films have attained cult status, generating continued demand for sequels and new chapters among audiences. Acknowledging this fervent audience interest, Firoz Nadiadwala recently reunited with Akshay Kumar to kick off the third installment of the ‘Welcome’ series, titled Welcome To The Jungle, with filming commencing earlier this year. However, the clamor for Hera Pheri 3 persisted across social media and other platforms. With the financial settlement now finalized, the path is clear for the film to move forward once the script is locked in.
A reliable source confirmed, “Firoz has cleared his outstanding dues and secured a No Due Certificate from the court, enabling him to regain control of Hera Pheri and other films. He is now free to advance these projects at his discretion and is eager to delight the audience,” affirmed a source close to the situation. It was also noted that “Hera Pheri 3 is a passion project not only for Firoz but also for the original trio—Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty. They are all excited that the focus can now shift to the creative aspects and logistical requirements to breathe life into the film.”
Rumors suggest that Firoz will convene with his Hera Pheri team in the upcoming weeks to strategize for the third installment.
