Govinda bullet injury: Actor to be discharged in 2-3 days

Govinda Hospitalized After Accidental Bullet Injury

Popular actor Govinda recently made headlines after sustaining bullet injuries in a shocking incident on October 1. Known for his comedic prowess and dancing skills, the actor was rushed to Criti Care Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, after his licensed revolver accidentally discharged during a cleaning session, resulting in a wound on his left leg.

Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, the surgeon treating Govinda, provided insight into the actor’s condition. He mentioned that Govinda, accompanied by his daughter Tina Ahuja, was admitted to the hospital early in the morning following the accident. Describing the incident, Dr. Agarwal stated, “He arrived here around 5 am with a bullet lodged in his leg. The operation was successful, and he is currently in stable condition.”

The bullet was located in Govinda’s left leg, a few inches below the knee. Although there was some blood loss, Dr. Agarwal reassured the public that the situation was under control. “Fortunately, the bullet did not penetrate through the leg. It was safely removed during the surgery, and Govinda received stitches to aid in his recovery,” he explained.

Addressing concerns about Govinda’s hospital stay, Dr. Agarwal confirmed that the actor would remain hospitalized for a maximum of two days but would need to rest and avoid strenuous activities for three to four weeks. The doctor emphasized that Govinda’s treatment primarily involved pain management and antibiotics, with no significant complications expected.

In response to the incident, Govinda expressed his gratitude for the support and confirmed that the bullet had been successfully extracted, alleviating any further concerns.
