“Kaabil” is a bright young fresh film. The title meaning is capable in English.
Our story follows Rohan Bhatnager (who is played by Hrithik Roshan). Our female lead is played the lovely Yami Gautam as Supriya Bhatnagar.
A young couple madly in love. This film gives new meaning to the phrase, “love is blind.” For after all, our lead characters are both blind. They find each other and discover the power of love. As the movie tagline states, “the heart sees all.” This shows that love can take place and even thrive under the hardest of circumstances. Love can be experienced even beyond or surpassing the natural senses we have.
Their love story is happy and joyful certainly at the beginning. It seems like nothing can end up separating them. That is until Supriya is kidnapped.
Rohan then transforms fueled by his anger at what has happened to his beautiful partner.Rohan isn’t just your everyday run of the mill blind guy. He is actually a crime-fighting hero. Hrithik Roshan was praised for this role as being of his best to date. Just because our lead character is blind doesn’t mean that he misses anything. He fights back in defense of his love Surpiya. While doing so he definitely proves that even with a “so called” disability he is capable of defending not only himself but those in his life that he loves.
The ever popular Bollywood actor brothers Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy play the antagonists in the film. They are Rohan’s main enemies and he fights them throughout the film.
The music is arranged and composed by Rajesh Roshan. With Salim-Sulaiman arranging and composing the background music for the film. The soundtracks contains six songs. Featuringthe writing talents of Nasir Faraaz, Kumaar, Anjaan, and Manoj Mustashir. Three of the songs have been sung and performed by the talented Jubin Nautiyal. As well as, Raftaar, Payal Dev, Vishal Dadlani. The soundtrack is produced by the popular T-Series.
Principal shooting took place and it was shot over last year 2016. Filming, in locations throughout Mumbai, India.
This film has had a great success.Already, within the first week surpassing and making up its production costs at the box office.
As well as among reviewers and critics giving it mostly four out of five stars. “Kaabil” hasn’t even been out a week yet. The film, already has had raves reviews amongst its fans and industry reviewers alike.
Even though, this film contains some similarities to others films such as Blind Fury and a Korean movie broken. It seems to have a great response by fans.
It has a wide range of appeal for Indian audiences as it is in three languages. Including: Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Which makes is more accessible in creating a larger fan base for the movie.
