Machine Movie Review
March 17th, 2017
The film “Machine”, is categorized as a romantic thriller. “It’s a classic love story with a twist.”
Follows the story of the racing in culture in India. Our couple first encounters each other due to unexplainable circumstances. They get to know each other the more time they spend together. Of course, they end up falling in love.
However, just as it seems their affectionate relationship is safe twists and turns come. Then unexpected conflicts arise changing the course of their relationships and lives forever.
The cast includes a wide age range and a variety of talents. Including the following; Ronit Roy, Johnny Lever, Kiara Advani, Sharast Saxena, Dalip Tahil, Supriya Karnik, Kishori Shahane and Vivek Vaswani.
Machine re-familiarizes audiences with Mustafa Burmawala as Ransh. Mustafa has previously had small roles in other films and has worked behind the scenes at part of the crew. He is also the son of the director, Abbas-Mustan. What a better way than to make your leading many debut than to have your dad put you in his film. I think this was a reason that lead to the comfort of Mustafa on screen being directed by his dad.
Mustafa and the beautiful Kiara Advani play our main couple Ransh and Sarah. They are a young hot couple with lots of chemistry which shows during the scenes and in the dance numbers.
The cars in the films are almost as beautiful as the cast. From motorcycles, to race cars, to luxury cars even the car lover and enthusiast would be excited to see this movie just for that fact.
Action packed and romantic. The viewer’s hearts will race with the love that develops between Ransh and Sarah. As well as the stunts, racing, and tricks with the cars.
The music for the film is composed and arranged by Dr Zeus, Tanishk Bagchi, and Komail Shivaan.
The lyrics for the soundtrack are written by Arafa Mehmood, Niket Pandey, Mohammed Irfan and Jasmine Sandlas. With the popluar T-Series again being the production company. There are six songs on album. Themes of the songs range from soothing, romantic, and including some dance-worthy tracks on there as well. One of the main songs, “Tu Cheez Badi” is taken from the 1994 film Mohra and was recreated for this film. The original performer Udit Narayan also lent his voice to this version.
The dance numbers are young, fresh, romantic and updeat perfect for celebrating Holi.
“The Machine” races into theaters across in India on March 17th, 2017.
