OK Jaanu Bollywood Movie Review

“Ok Jaanu” means Ok, Darling in English. Ok Jaanu also knows as “Ok January” is a fresh film young romance about a young couple’s relationship and journey.

Story that goes following our couple who relocates to Mumbai to follow their dreams.

Our couple is Adi (played by Shraddha Kapoor) and Tara (played by Aditya Roy Kapur). He is a fledgling game designer with hopes of going to the US. While, at his friend’s wedding he meets Tara. She is has recently graduated from architecture school and is had already started on a good and promising career path. She wants more than anything to go to Paris.

For the present, they don’t want to get married but rather live together and experience their exciting new life path of adventure.Nothing official. They strive for a relationship with no commitments or attachments. They are together for a while very happy and in love. But plans change, Tara she gets accepted into graduate school in Paris. His dreams of being successful in the US They try everything to stay together. Over time, they realize really just how important a part of each other’s’ lives they are.

They have to make the ultimate decision career or love which is more important in their lives? Will Adi go to the US and live the American Dream? Will Tara go to Paris and pursue further her education? Will they ever really be together? Who knows we shall be what they ultimately choose.

Music by A.R. (Allah-Rakha) Rahman. He is a composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, musician and activist. He is an award winning music director who received the Filmfare Award for his work. The film’s songs definitely match the moods and the ebbs and flows of Adi and Tara’s relationship.
