In a recent video clip that garnered widespread attention online, Shah Rukh Khan shared, “The next film that I am doing is ‘King.’ I have to start working on it, lose some weight, stretch a little so my groins don’t get caught while I am doing action.” This proclamation instantly sparked a buzz among eager fans awaiting the movie’s release.

SRK’s Vision for “King” and Long-Term Aspirations

Reflecting on his passion project, Shah Rukh Khan revealed that the concept of “King” has been brewing in his mind for several years. Following his completion of “Jawan” and “Dunki” last year, the actor expressed his desire to explore a new genre. He shared, “There’s a certain kind of film I want to do, maybe more age-centric, and I want to try something. For 6-7 years, I have been contemplating it. I mentioned it to Sujoy one day, and he says, ‘Sir, I have a subject.'”

Scheduled to commence filming in November this year, “King” has already generated substantial anticipation. Beyond the talents of Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, the movie boasts actors like Abhishek Bachchan playing the antagonist role and Abhay Verma in a pivotal character.
